Why are my 10 month old wood floors creaking?

They’re beautiful tiger wood floors professionally installed. When the temperature changes in the house, they creak pretty badly. I understand that it’s the temperature change that’s making them creak, but is this normal? Did the company who installed them do it correctly?
Thanks
Yes they are solid 3/4" hardwood, nailed down.

Are they floating laminate? True planks of wood nailed to the subfloor? If the second, yeah, they will creak, possible you will have seperation too. Have in the contractor for an inspection if the second case. If laminate flooring it might be going sour, its pinched by the walls causing some bulge and such, will eventually cause low spots and edge wear. thats worst case. its probably fine depending on what you hear. You have a warrenty from the installer and the manufacturer. 10 months seems like a good time to call for consultation about your concerns.

Wood expands and contracts in different temperatures, it is normal that they will creak with wear. You can go under the floor and shim the wood where it meets the joist to help eliminate some of the creaks but it is normal.
