  1. garygvalentine: are you saying a porsche 911 turbo is a sedan? cause i’m pretty sure it’s a sports car

simply put, no. a sports car is not determined by it’s outward appearance, but by it’s performance. a 2-door would be a coupe, convertible, or roadster. sedans have 4 doors

  2. When it comes to insurance purposes, they are… (I think?) LOL sorry, just realized I’m not really much help…

Two door cars with backseats are called COUPE… 4 door cars are called SEDAN….

Edited for posted below me :)

  3. Actually two door cars with a back seat are called sedans. Sports cars are cars with only two seats.

  4. NO There are sedans, wagons, hatchbacks, vans and a few other rare types that are defiantly sports cars!

    I have a 1922 Model "T" Ford coupe -and it defiantely is not a "sports car"! (35mpg @ 38mph)!

  5. i don’t think 2 doors are just sports cars ..Two seater’s are ..i have a 91 tercel and its not sporty lol.

  6. no
here a example toyota corolla 2 door sedans .smart .
    not a sport car
most coupe and some hatchtback are but not all

  7. No, but most 2 seaters are..

  8. Nope, but all of them are higher on insurance because of sporty looks.

  9. No not all two doors are considered sports cars. Take a Ford Focus for example. They make those in two doors, but are they sports cars? Absolutely Not! They are Economy Cars.
